– 14h00 –

Welcome to Phu Chaisai Mountain Resort, one of the worlds leading eco resorts. Your package includes airport transfers from Chiang Rai City to this beautiful 2,000 acre natural estate. Upon arrival you will be checked in to your bamboo cottage where you can enjoy the fresh air, beautiful mountain top views, pool and its famous flower gardens.

This is Northern Thailand Nature at its best.


– 15h30 –

Once you have checked in and are feeling refreshed, you will join your first activity, exploring the estates farms by local e-tan tractor. Along the way you will have the opportunity to stop and pick vegetables from the organic farm and fruit orchard while enjoying the breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys.


– 16h30 > 18h30 –

The resort has extensive facilities for your enjoyment before dinner.   Have a swim in our mountain side infinity pool surrounded by tropical gardens and bamboo with sweeping views of the Mae Salong Valley. Relax with a stroll through the beautiful flower gardens or take some time to enjoy the school of mature Koi in the Koi Pond.

Dinner is at 18:30 at the gorgeous Phu Chiasai restaurant. There is comfortable seating outside around the Koi Pond or under cover at the piano restaurant. Experience authentic Thai and Hilltribe specialities, western favorites and quality cocktails.

– 7h00 –

The open air breakfast sala is one of the most enjoyable rooms of the hotel.  Set upon the mountain top it has 270 degree views over the Mae Salong Valley. Surrounded by the clean air and sounds of nature, there is no better place to enjoy the morning.

The resort cultivates its own produce at its organic farms, tea plantation and fruit orchard for use in its restaurant. The resort also supports local area farmers and growers to provide meats and seasonal fruits and vegetables.

The Phu Chaisai breakfast is proud to feature these items.


– 10h30 > 12h00 –

Set along the west side of the resorts mountain The Baan Thai Cooking school will offer guests the opportunity to learn to prepare authentic Northern Thai recipes while enjoying stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Our Thai Executive Chef will teach guests about the local produce and how to cook, step-by-step, 2 dishes and 1 desert. Savor your creations for lunch.


– 14h00 > 18h30 –

Phu Chaisai has many facilities and activities for you to enjoy in your leisure time. Perhaps you might want to relax on your private balcony daybed with mountain top views or spend time in the infinity pool. For those that are more adventurous the resort has kilometers of easily followed hiking trails that are fun for all ages. Along the way you will see hill tribes, forests, lakes and our organic farms.

Dinner is at 18:30 at the gorgeous Phu Chiasai restaurant.

– 6h30 –

Check out at 6h30 am with breakfast box provided. Guest will be transferred from Phu Chaisai Resort to the Thai-Lao border of Chiang Khong – Huay Xai. Our team will meet you at the immigration office and assist you during the border crossing. Once you are on the Lao side, a minivan will bring you to the boat pier for your cruise.


– 9h30 –

Within the Mekong region, the capital of the Lao province of Bokèo, Huay Xai is an important border crossing point with neighboring Chiang Khong, Thailand and was thus chosen as the ideal departing port for the cruise.


– 10h30 –

After one-hour journeying along the river, the boat stops at a traditional village. This is a chance to observe rural life along the Mekong and witness the daily life of ethnic minorities and their talented craftsmanship.


– 12h30 –

Lunch is served on board in a buffet style with a selection of main course from Laos’ main culinary delights as well as a choice of dishes.


– 16h30 –

The river cruise arrives at Luang Say Lodge near Pak Beng before sunset, giving plenty of time to refresh, enjoy the scenery of the river and admire the surrounding nature.


– 18h30 –

Admire a view of the sunset and savor the feeling of exclusivity as you enjoy the Laotian dinner on the open-air terrace overlooking the Mekong River.
